Chapter 1 Preview - The Oswald Lone Assassin Theory Through the Eyes of the Actual Gunman

As six decades approach since the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the Oswald lone assassin theory continues to be one of the most hotly debated controversies in history.

Author Dave O’Brien at the so-called ‘Oswald’ window, brings previously untold insights to the theory that Oswald acted alone.

Did Lee Harvey Oswald act alone when he murdered the 35th President of the United States on November 22, 1963?

Many historians believe this question will forever remain a mystery for two reasons:

  1. Assassin Assassinated – The accused assassin was himself murdered two days later by Jack Ruby, denying Oswald and history a fair and impartial trial.
  2. Presidential Commission – In place of a trial, The Warren Commission investigated the assassination and concluded that Oswald was the only gunman that tragic day in Dallas.

Case closed!

Lee Harvey Oswald – Lone assassin, a Patsy or something else?

With the alleged assassin conveniently silenced forever, the only person who would know the truth for sure can’t possibly tell his story. Right?

When Oswald was able to speak for himself in the final 48 hours of his life, he emphatically denied shooting President Kennedy or Dallas police officer J.D. Tippit, declaring “I’m just a patsy!”

So, who was speaking the truth? Was it Oswald or was it the Warren Commission?

HISTORY THROUGH THE SIXTH-FLOOR WINDOW

As a reporter and JFK researcher, I was given the rare opportunity to become Lee Harvey Oswald or whoever the assassin was at the southeast sixth-floor window of the Texas School Book Depository Building.

I became one of the few people ever allowed access to that infamous sniper’s nest (see above) when the building was empty and sealed from the public.

In essence, I was able to become the assassin by standing in his shoes. As if peering over his shoulder, I could see what the assassin saw as the JFK limousine turned onto Elm Street and drove into the cross hairs of the rifle’s telescope.

And what I saw stunned me!

From the perspective of a lone shooter, I was able to make troublesome observations that have previously gone unreported. I saw lies, deception and quite possibly the true version of history that has been suppressed from the American public.

A second trip to Dealey Plaza four years later yielded yet another ‘Ah-Ha’ moment that challenges the historical record.

The result is a new book titled Through the ‘Oswald’ Window. It brings fresh insights to the Oswald lone assassin theory and other aspects of America’s ultimate cold case!
